Percussionist and composer Justin Hines regularly performs with orchestras, chamber ensembles, world music groups and jazz ensembles both in the US and abroad. Since 1997, he has been involved in arts education, collaborating with institutions such as the New York Philharmonic, Carnegie Hall, the Lincoln Center Institute, the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, the 92nd St. Y, the St. Louis Symphony, and many others. As a singer-songwriter, he fronts Justin Hines and the Headphones.  He is currently the principal percussionist of the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Americas and a percussionist for the Tony award winning musical "In the Heights."
